TBWA Stockholm Category: Branding and Campaign Client: Cuba Cola Role: Graphic Designer Year: 2021 — In the beginning of 1953, Cuba Cola made a prominent entrance into the market and quickly became the Swedish dream soda between February and April of the same year. Unfortunately, there were some less favorable events that followed, including competition from an American giant. But now, Cuba Cola is finally back, having undergone a refresh with a new recipe, a modern design, and a sugar-free variant. My role in this project has been to create the graphic expression for Cuba's new design. We chose a naive brutalist style that breaks with the traditional rules of art. This expression has been implemented on outdoor signage, in social media, on the website, and in printed materials.
