UKM is a non-profit organization dedicated to create meeting spaces
by organizing festivals for youths where they can express themselves
in different creative and artistically ways for an audience.
Our work includes a new graphic identity for both stationary office
material as well as a festivalkit and merchandise for 2017.
We wanted the new identity to have a playful touch that could be applied
discreet on stationary material as well as take more space on festival merchandise.
A key value of UKM is to let creativity take space. To symbolize that, we made
a pattern out of a magnified version of the logo.
We also worked with three including and non-stereotypic key colors in the new
graphic identity. In the year of 2017, purple will be the main color of the festival,
with orange and green elements. By working in this way the festival will easily
be recognized as it uses a new dominant color in the year of 2018.
